About

I have been a member of the National Symphony Orchestra as Assistant Principal Oboe since September 2011. I attended New England Conservatory of Music, Indiana University, and the Colburn Conservatory. Before moving to DC, I lived in Portland Oregon, and was Principal Oboe of the Portland Opera Orchestra from 2007. I love teaching, and currently on faculty at the NSO's Summer Music Institute, the DC Youth Orchestra and the Miami Music Festival. Jamie is also one of the founding members of the Hubbard Quartet, and LeDroit Chamber Players, a community chamber music organization based in Washington DC.
