Our flute and guitar duo Silver and Strings is comprised of Jonathan Hurley, Berklee graduate and Eileen Yarrison who holds a doctorate in music. Both are educators at the college level and absolutely love to perform!
Music
Silver and Strings is a flute and guitar duo that plays chamber music throughout the ages. Always looking for the lost gem or unique arrangement, little known composers such as Yost and Quentin share the bill alongside more known composers such as Giuliani, Ibert and Piazzolla. From Baroque to modern flamenco inspired compositions from Caliendo to modern classical music from Gary Shocker and Robert Beaser, the program of Silver and Strings is the epitome of diversity and beauty.
