About

The Montlake Duo consists of Seattle guitarists Connor Ritchie and Max Shaffer. In their time performing together, they have been showcase artists in a variety of different concerts and festivals, including the Northwest Classical Guitar Festival, the first annual Classical Guitar Two-Day Intensive Summer Workshop at the University of Washington and the New Mexico Classical Guitar Festival. Under the direction of Michael Partington, the Montlake Duo plays a wide variety of repertoire; spanning from the works of Fernando Sor and Maurice Ravel to Antoine Lhoyer and Celso Machado.
