About

David Chang has performed at such venues as Lincoln Center, the Tenri Cultural Institute of New York, the Javits Center, the Bitter End, Black Box Theatre, Frederick Loewe Theatre, the Skirball Center, and Yamaha Piano Salon here in New York. He has also performed multiple times in both the Czech Republic and Spain. Recently, he was the featured performer at the Manhattan International Film Festival. Last year, he gave solo piano recitals both in New York and in Taipei (at Fazioli Piano Center). And in June and July of this year (2019), he gave solo recitals in both New York and Shanghai. He received a bachelor's degree in music education from NYU and a master's degree in piano performance from Manhattan School of Music.

In addition to performing, David has taught for over 17 years and now teaches full-time from his home studio in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. A current Thumbtack Top Pro and Steinway Educational Partner, he has about 40 students of all ages and abilities.
