About

Carrie and Szu-Yi combine liquid phrasing and musical sensitivity to interpret the great flute and piano literature.

Carrie Rose is a flutist, composer, and educator. Diverse musical pursuits include freelancing with regional orchestras, grooving for folk dances, unfurling a luscious array of chamber music, and wailing out avant-garde music in the flute collective, inHALE. She produces the Origins Concert Series (a hub for adventurous music-seekers) and has a thriving private flute studio in Takoma Park. www.rosearts.org
