While living in the Chicagoland area for most of his life,
Andrew Vogt has had the pleasure to perform with world class musicians such as Ernie Watts (Frank Zappa, Marvin Gaye, Rolling Stones), Nate Watts (Stevie Wonder) and Donny McCaslin (David Bowie) as well as countless incredible Chicago musicians (including The Chicago Yestet, Chris Madsen’s Kings of the Lobby, Pocket Radio, Bonzo Squad and The Xavier Breaker Coalition) plus many fantastic touring groups.

Vogt has two albums out under his name, a jazz fusion project “The AV Club” and an avant-garde free jazz EP “For Free.” Both records are available on all digital platforms and physical copies are available by request. He also composes regularly for the ATLYS String Quartet and the jazz fusion quartet Bonzo Squad. A piano trio record is currently being recorded and due out in the next year

Music

I primarily play jazz music, but compose a lot for the ATLYS String Quartet and grew up playing orchestral music.
