About

Hi! I'm a lyric mezzo soprano originally from Charleston, SC now based in Brooklyn, NY. I grew up performing in community musical theatre and folk ensembles, then shifted to classical music, first through choral and chamber groups, and now doing a mix of solo opera and chamber work.

Music

I sing a mix of everything, but I'd have to say my favorites are: French grand opera (Offenbach, Gounod, Massenet), anything from the solo or chamber Baroque repertoire (Purcell, Schutz, Handel), Renaissance motets (Palestrina, Byrd, Tallis, Monteverdi), and 20th/21st century American music, spanning opera, musical theatre, pop, and folk.
