Violinist Stefan Hersh is the Founder and Artistic Director of Guarneri Hall. He is on the faculty of the Chicago College of the Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. Hersh is also an expert in rare string instruments and a partner at Darnton & Hersh Fine Violins in Chicago.

Pianist Dr. Katherine Petersen is a founding member of ensemble Duo FAE, Ms. Petersen collaborates frequently with violinist Charlene Kluegel. She was core pianist for the group, Fifth House Ensemble until 2020. Ms. Petersen received her Bachelor of Music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music, her Masters and DMus from the Schulich School of Music of McGill University.
