Baker Peeples is a card/carrying member of the Freeway Philharmonic, holding positions with the Oakland Symphony, Symphony Silicon Valley, the Sacramento Philharmonic and Opera, and the Lamplighters Music Theatre.

Mr. Peeples teaches private lessons and coaches sectionals and adjudicates seating auditions for local youth orchestras, but he derives most pleasure from performing chamber music of all instrumental combinations, an outlet that Groupmuse heartily provides!

Mr. Peeples is also a avid cook, Giants fan, and enjoys exercise, craft beer, and single malt scotch.

If playing an alternative style of music, if there is sheet music, I will happily play it. If asked to improvise or jam, then you will see the human form of a deer caught in the headlights.
