Jennifer "Fritz" Kim is a member of the second violin section of the National Symphony Orchestra and was a member of the first violin section of the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra and a substitute musician for New York Philharmonic and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Chamber music is really her "jam" so you can find her jamming out with fun and creative colleagues on Millennium Stage, George Washington's Mount Vernon, GroupMuse and with National Chamber Players. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Columbia University and a Master of Music degree in violin performance from The Juilliard School. Her teachers include Ricardo Cyncynates, Naoko Tanaka, Lisa Kim, and Hyo Kang. Fritz's interest in all kinds of wine has led to her official "wine nerd" Diploma level 4 certification from Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) in 2022. She plays on a JB Vuillaume violin.
