About

Musicians Michael Alampi (flute), Lydia Consilvio (oboe), and Jeremiah Cossa (piano) met freelancing in NYC with the chamber orchestra Parlando.

Michael studied in London at the Royal Academy of Music and in New York at the Mannes School of Music and Manhattan School of Music. He freelances on Broadway, studio recordings, orchestras, and concert tours.

Lydia holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Oboe Performance from the University of Maryland, a Master of Music degree from Yale University, and a Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music. Passionate about chamber music, her debut album, iridescent J.S. Bach Keyboard Partitas arranged for Double Reeds, features self-arranged works for chamber ensemble.

Jeremiah earned his Bachelor of Music at Azusa Pacific University and his Master of Music in Piano Performance at The Boston Conservatory. Jeremiah remains active in the Boston and NY arts scene as a soloist, chamber musician, jazz pianist, and improviser.

Music

Together, the Pearl Trio plays trios, duets, and solos of music from a diverse set of composers and time periods, from Baroque German music of Bach and Telemann, to modern English and American music of Madeleine Dring and William Grant Still, respectively.

Members of this group have experience and passion for playing and singing/songwriting in a variety of musical genres beyond classical music, including pop, funk, jazz, and bluegrass. If desired, these elements can be incorporated into our program.

The Pearl Trio is enthusiastic to give you the ultimate salon music experience, providing intimate world-class chamber music right in your living room. Please feel free to reach out!
