American Composers Orchestra

About ACO
American Composers Orchestra (ACO) advances orchestral music by identifying, developing and supporting American composers. We champion overlooked voices, identify and amplify emerging artists, support innovative compositions and interpretations, provide experiences that embrace discovery, and nurture a vibrant community of creators, listeners and patrons.

Our Mission & Vision
ACO is dedicated to the creation, celebration, performance, and promotion of orchestral music by American composers. With commitment to diversity, disruption and discovery, ACO produces concerts, pre-college and college education programs, and emerging composer professional development to foster a community of creators, audience, performers, collaborators, and funders.
