About

Trevor New is an electro-acoustic violist, composer, and technologist who blends music and interactive technology to create innovative, immersive experiences. As Artistic Director of Enjinn Arts, Trevor’s work is driven by a desire to connect people across locations, fostering a collective sense of creativity and community. His performances seamlessly integrate in-person and virtual audiences, using augmented reality and real-time networked collaborations to unite musicians from different time zones in a single performance. Cohere Touch, his latest hybrid-interactive piece, will be released on Platoon, Apple Music's record label, and published by the American Composers Orchestra's Earshot Publishing, in partnership with Boosey & Hawkes.

Trevor has also collaborated with renowned artists like Stevie Wonder, A$AP Rocky, Joe Hisaishi, Madonna, Jon Batiste, Katy Perry and others. He played on the 2023 Grammy-winning Best Instrumental Composition “Refuge” by Geoffrey Keezer.
