If you’re an opera lover, and perhaps even if you’re not, you’ve heard of Susan Graham. She’s probably our nation's most celebrated mezzo soprano working today. Her voice has graced a presidential inauguration, and the nationally televised funeral mass for Ted Kennedy. She’s performed on a great many of the major opera stages of the world, and thanks to our friends at Lincoln Center’s Great Performers, she’s coming through town for a more intimate affair. And, bless our lucky stars, we’re invited along for a Night Out!

The evening is entitled The Art of Song, and Graham, backed by the tremendous talent Malcolm Martineau on the piano, will share some of the most beautiful jewels of the art song repertoire. Those familiar with the vaulting drama of Graham’s operatic roles will surely treasure this collection of moments smaller, but no less sublime.

It’s an evening of some of the greats: Debussy, Grieg, Fauré, Ravel, Tchaikovsky, R. Strauss, and a lot of Robert Schumann - thought to be second only to Schubert in his mastery of the art song.

Tickets typically average $60, but we’ve got a stack for $20! But this is Susan Graham, this is Lincoln Center. This stack won’t last — so make your move!

And have a great Night Out!
