Hi there,
Although Groupmuse is not hosting any in-person events until after April 30th, rather than cancelling your upcoming Groupmuse the musician and/or host has decided to take the event online as a live-streaming performance! Stay tuned and visit the event page for more details!
Although we all can’t be together in person, we hope this ‘virtual muse’ will bring you a sense of joy and connection during these times of social distancing.
Stay healthy and safe,
The Groupmuse Team

Thought I'd give the Zoom approach a try, but the borrowed MacBook I'm on, via WiFi, just isn't doing the job. Sigh. -- Jim

Hi Everyone - Just wanted to say thank you again for being a part of the Groupmuse Livestream concert last night.
I wasn't kidding when I said that I was more nervous for this show than I have been in a long long time!
Mostly it went off without a hitch. If you had any issues with lag time, or the audio or video going in or out, then perhaps try to find a better connection? This can mean moving to a place in your home with a stronger WiFi signal, or using a computer that is wired into your internet source.
(For a good way to test wifi signals in different locations around your house, type "internet speed test" into Google and it has an easy way to run tests).
Most of all, I'm glad to be able to keep sharing music. Special thanks to Kyle and Groupmuse for their support and for hosting last night, and thanks to you all for being so supportive, both through your presence and through your donations.
Next Tuesday - I'll plan a livestream with Charly, so you can hear our Cello+Piano program! Stay tuned,
Ian Scarfe
