Steinway Artist Hsing-ay Hsu (“Sing-I Shoo”) joyfully shares the power of concert piano music to bring awareness and to weave a rich cultural fabric. Ms. Hsu empowers lifelong learners to find inspirational “pathways forward” through the music she performs, stressing that creativity is essential to living life fully.
Ms. Hsu has performed at prestigious venues across the globe, including Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center, and Lincoln Center. Born in Beijing, Ms. Hsu trained at Juilliard, Yale School of Music, Aspen, Ravinia, and Tanglewood. Recipient of numerous international awards, the Washington Post praised her “power and authority”.
After serving as a faculty member and a concert producer at the University of Colorado for fourteen years as Director of Pendulum New Music, she continues to provide personalized coachings and produces a listening Café and regular Youtube channel premieres through her "Nutmeg Studio NYC".
