Hi everyone! This is the first time we're hosting an event, and we're hoping it's a good one. I want to warn people up front: our place is a bit of challenge to get to, but worth it if you can make it. We're up in the North Berkeley hills, and do not have parking available at our place. Options are to BART in and take a taxi, or look for street parking and expect a decent walk. We're at the top of a hill, with another 100 steps up to our house. The good news is, you'll get to enjoy a concert on our rooftop patio, watching the sun set over the bay. See you all there!

Hi everyone, I'm looking forward to meeting you all on Friday!
The original plan was to spend the evening on our rooftop patio, but we may end up moving inside if it’s too cold for the musicians and instruments. We'll play it by ear, so either way bring something warm so you can enjoy the view over the bay before and after the show.
We’ll be doing BYOB, and I’ll have cups/glasses and ice, so feel free to bring whatever you’d like pair with lovely music.
There won’t be any parking available in my driveway, so if you’re driving give yourself a bit of extra time to find street parking and walk up.
See you Friday!

Hi everyone, we are looking forward to performing Mozart's Dissonance Quartet and Gershwin's Lullaby for you this Friday!
Mozart's Quartet No. 19 in C Major is nicknamed the "Dissonance" Quartet - while it certainly sounds like good ol' Mozart to us today, a lot of this quartet would have been considered "dissonant" ("dis" -apart, "sonare" - sound).
To get a head start on learning about this Mozart quartet, feel free to listen to this NPR feature of the quartet: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5080551
