I always find something new to admire in George Gershwin's music. In addition to performing some of his classical solo piano music including some Preludes long thought to be lost, I'm excited to share some of his original arrangements of some of his most famous songs and the story behind these works.
What's the music?
Program will include:
Three Piano Preludes, Two "Lost" Preludes, Rialto Ripples (ragtime), Gershwin's own arrangements of some of his famous songs including: The Man I Love, S'Wonderful, Lady Be Good, Somebody Loves Me. Arrangements by the performer of: Embraceable You, I've Got a Crush on You, Someone To Watch Over Me and more.
