We are fortunate to be able to snag Paris-based Juilliard trained pianist Rieko Tsuchida to perform at this event on March 5th as she passes through New York on a performance tour.
For a taster, here is a video Rieko playing one of the pieces in her program -- Liszt Liebestraum (Dreams of Love) No. 3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSSdw_faaxk
As usual, this will be a fun evening filled with beautiful music and engaging conversation. I expect this event to be sold-out, so please grab your tickets soon.
What's the music?

-Les Teindres Plaintes

Thank you so much Rieko for a truly wonderful performance!
You exceeded expectations and made it an amazing evening of music!
We were so lucky to have the chance to hear you play and
hopefully you will perform again for us in the future!!
Au revoir and all the best in your Parisian sojourn!
Thanks so much also to Jennifer for being such an awesome host
and for snaring Rieko during her short stay in NYC!!!

Vachement magnifique! The high-volume sections filled my covid-depleted dantians with overflowing qi. It was gratifying to hear Rieko's explanations of compositions in the 12-tone scale (or whatever u call that weird music), but it is still too hard for me.
Jennifer and her partner r always the bestest hosts ever--I was sitting near the recycling bin, and it was clinking non-stop with emptying wine bottles (also thanks to the generous audience).
Pray for peace.

Thank you so much for an amazing evening, Jennifer! It was such a pleasure to meet and speak to many of you before and after the performance. I hope to see all of you again soon! My new website www.riekotsuchida.com should be up on Monday and I post updates on my Instagram @rieko_tsuchida several times a week :) until next time…
