Friends of the Erben Organ are pulling out all the stops to celebrate the 222nd birthday of organ builder Henry Erben. Located in the lively neighborhood of Soho, in the beautiful Basilica of Old St. Patrick's, the 1868 Erben organ is one of New York City’s historic gems.

Constructed by the world-renowned organbuilder Henry Erben (1800–1884), this organ is the only one left in America, intact, in the original acoustic space.

Please join for a festive concert with the premiere (on organ) of Carson Cooman's A St. Patrick Silhouette. Baritone Paddy Connolly, from Ireland, will sing favorite Irish tunes with the organ, in anticipation of upcoming St. Patrick's Day. Mr. Connolly has performed at St. Patrick's Cathedral and with Riverdance Broadway and Riverdance The World Tour. Saxophone player Eddie Barbash will also perform. Mr. Barbash is a founding member of Jon Batiste Stay Human, the house band for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Tickets are usually $20, but Friends of the Erben Organ are offering 30 tickets to us at $10 ($5 for Supermusers). Get your tickets today!

The organ loft is usually closed to the public, but for this special event, you can walk past the locked gate to see the organ up close and take a look inside the 154-year-old pneumatic computer!

Masking is optional for this event, and we will no longer check vaccination proof at the entrance, per NYC policy.
