Thank you so much for coming! I’m so glad I could be part of this event for such an important cause, and that I could share some great and fitting repertoire.

Richardson must have a Polish soul; he totally channeled Paderewski for the Chopin tonight. It's remarkable that the very finished Wojciech Kilar Waltz was actually improvise by Richardson. That capacity fuels Richardson's Chopin to the highest level. My paltry contribution of $60 (what I had on me) is totally inadequate for this world class performance. Can hardly wait to hear Richardson's next one.

Thank you so much everyone for attending and donating to NOVA Ukraine. If you would like to make additional donations, here is our fundraising link: https://novaukraine.crowdchange.co/26361

Also, thank you to The Polish Club for donating the space and all the Volunteers who made this event possible.

I’m so grateful to Christopher for putting this program together and preparing a new interpretation of Kilar’s Waltz. Here is a link to full orchestra performance: https://youtu.be/NAUkpIr-F-E
This was the first time a new piano version was performed live. I’ve only heard recordings of it previously.

I hope to host more events in the future with focus on Polish composers.

The Polish Club is also looking for a good quality fortepiano that can be used for future concerts. Please contact me if you have ideas on how to best approach this.

Thank you for organizing this event. Food for the soul for sure and the sweets weren't bad either.
Christopher made magical music out of the vintage piano that many of us recall from decades past. Heartwarming. Inspiring. Sentimental. Patriotic.

Hopefully we can attend more of these feasts over the summer. Dziekuje!
