Yejin Han is a South Korean born pianist who showed her talent at young age by winning piano competitions and playing concerts. Soon after she completed her Bachelor of Music degree from Chung Ang University in Seoul, Korea, she moved to the USA to further her musical education by studying for an Artist Diploma from Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and earning a Master of Music in Piano Performance degree and studying for a Doctoral of Musical Arts from Louisiana State University. Han also performed many solo recitals as well as performing as a soloist with orchestras that include;
Brevard Music Festival Symphony Orchestra, Colorado Spring Music Festival Chamber Orchestra, and Louisiana S. University Symphony. In 2019 Han appeared at Carnegie Hall as a soloist with the Association of Musicians and Artists Orchestra and soon after released her digital album, “Strangely Classical II” in major digital stores.
Han is also an established piano teacher and served as a chairperson for the World Piano Competition of Regional Youth Division in Cincinnati, Ohio in late 2000. As a result of her dedication, many of Han’s students have won international piano competitions and performed at prestigious venues, such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. Han is also the founder of adult pianist group, “New York Pianist Club”,
established in 2018. Club members include amateur and professional pianists meeting monthly to play, including annual recitals, competitions and to attend Clinical Workshop hosted by Han.
