We are so happy to bring Friction Quartet back to Richmond after an absence of several years. This talented group eagerly tackles 20th- and 21st-century composers including, in this concert, Caroline Shaw (winner of the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for Music), Alban Berg, and Leos Janacek.
Friction Quartet includes: Doug Machiz, cello; Otis Harriel, violin; Kevin Rogers, violin; and Mitso Floor, viola.
