Where does this music come from?
We will perform pieces from the historical tradition of guitar and folkloric music from South America, including Brazilian Afro-sambas, classical guitar music from Cuba and Paraguay, a piece by Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos, and impressionistic music by Erik Satie. We'll also perform instrumental arrangements of classic tunes from the 1960s, and 70s and 80s classics by the Eagles and Roxy Music, and two original compositions inspired by the music of Latin America and Spain. We've coined the term Latin Classical Psychedelic to describe our music as it embraces these and other traditions.

Attendees
Hello, attendees for the "Dream Under the Trees" event... this is Eric, the host. I need to let everyone who is planning to attend know that my spouse and I tested positive for COVID this week. We have minimal symptoms and are fully vaccinated, even with the latest booster. THE EVENT WILL STILL GO ON. We will be masked and the concert is in an outdoor space with plenty of room. It just feels wrong to me not to disclose this important detail, however. If you have any questions at all, feel free to call or text me at 301-437-2572. We hope to see you tonight. It will be a beautiful evening of fantastic music and a chance to meet new friends and neighbors. THANK YOU! Eric
