Sam Reider performs. His work has been described as --
Alternatively pensive, bluesy, cinematic, and joyful, Reider's playing is "destined to spark your creativity, imagination and wanderlust for the natural world.” (Adrian Spinelli, San Francisco Chronicle)

What's the music?

American Panorama is a musical portrait of the connections between sounds, places, and traditions in the American landscape. Award-winning accordionist, pianist and composer Sam Reider draws on his crossover career in jazz, folk and classical music, performing an eclectic program that includes works by jazz pioneer Duke Ellington, blues guitarist Leadbelly, and Appalachian old-time musicians, alongside Reider's own original music. Reider's original compositions for the piano range from a quiet meditation on a High Sierra "Mirror Lake," to the euphoric, Keith Jarrett-inspired etude "Petrichor," named for the fresh smell of the earth after a first rain. Alternatively pensive, bluesy, cinematic, and joyful, Reider's playing is "destined to spark your creativity, imagination and wanderlust for the natural world.” (Adrian Spinelli, San Francisco Chronicle)
