Have you ever been a few feet away from an angelic harp and harpist? Now is your chance!

WELCOME to the first-ever Groupmuse city venue: the friendly Glen Park branch of the San Francisco Public Library. We are happy to present this FREE concert by amazing harpist AMY AHN. Singles, families, and children are welcome!

This event is different than usual Groupmuse events: no reservation is required (open to public), but seating is limited and latecomers may not be admitted, so plan to arrive early. RSVPing does help us know Amy will get a good crowd, though!

Amy is principal harpist of the Stockton Symphony and an award-winning solo harpist. She is most well known for being a versatile artist—as a multi-genre performing harpist, singer, songwriter and devoted educator. She has held substitute and principal positions with Boston Lyric Opera, Monterey Symphony, Boston Civic Orchestra, Orchestra of Indian Hill and Peabody Symphony Orchestra. She earned degrees from UCLA, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. Her program will be eclectic and include classical, folk, modern pop, and jazz compositions including Vince Guaraldi's best known music for animated television adaptations of the "Peanuts" comic strip. Amy will share interesting and educational tips about the history of the piece or the composer and will join guests after the concert for light refreshments, to answer questions about her musical career and her lovely harp.
