7:30pm Saturday September 14, 2024: Matyas Novak coming to the USA from Europe (Czech Republic) in September, 2024, to perform at The National Gallery of Art and here at SOLOX. Music begins at 8pm. Matyas really likes performing through Groupmuse (NYC & Philly). Matyáš Novák has made a name for himself as one of the most promising pianists of his time through his extraordinary harmonic expression, vast repertoire and unique way of key-stroking.
Matyáš Novák was born in Hradec Králové, the Czech Republic. He began studying piano and violin at the age of five. Matyáš graduated from the Imola International Piano Academy in 2022 where he studied with Boris Petrushansky. He previously studied at Pardubice Conservatoire in the Czech Republic under Jitka Fowler Fraňková. Currently, Matyáš is attending the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, specifically the class conducted by prof. Ivan Klánský.
