Hosts

Eric C. Co-host

We're really excited to host the Eric Ching Quartet - a hot local group that plays very cool jazz! This is THE album celebration event of the year!

From the Artist: Please join us for an exciting evening of jazz, pop and R&B with the Eric Ching Quartet ft. Anna Crumley ✌️

Eric Ching - Drums
Anna Crumley - Voice
David Galvan - Piano
Alex Minney - Bass

We will be having a one-year celebration of Eric's recent record, "In Search For A Brighter Hue". It was a culminating piece which wrapped up his 20s and a Portland/NYC/LA collaboration that brought dimension and complexity to a thoughtful set of modern jazz.

The album features vocalist Anna Crumley on two pieces and she'll be performing live at this concert. Anna recently won her first Grammy with Tonality for the album "So She Howls" by Carla Patullo!

Liner Notes:
All of these songs serve to represent the feeling of "I'm not necessarily sure what I'm looking for, but I'll know when I've found it." That might mean anything like looking for a better life situation, adjusting the colors when editing an image, or looking for the right set of notes. With enough trials and a little faith, the answer will present itself.

From the Hosts: Bring a lawn chair or beach blanket, and make it a dreamy evening under the stars. Feel free to bring your own adult beverages and snacks; the hosts will provide cold water and iced tea.

Note for those driving to the event - if you are unfamiliar with the Michillinda Park neighborhood, please drive slowly and carefully when you arrive. There are nearly 100 urbanized wild peafowl in the park, and you will encounter many peahens with chicks, slowly crossing the street near our house.
