Welcome back to our home on top of the hill in the Presidio!

We are a short walk from Immigrant Point Overlook - it is highly recommend you arrive early and take a five-minute stroll to catch the views! Or maybe we will all take a group walk after the music is finished...

This Groupmuse will be so fun... GRAMMY AWARD WINNING 🏆 violinist 🎻 Mads Tolling will be sharing some music with us! He has a collection of classical favorites, jazz standards, and even his own compositions to share with us.

Ian will join him on the keys 🎹 for several numbers.

Prepare yourself:
- Our house has two cats 🐈 🐈‍⬛
- We are shoe-free, so wear your best socks 🧦
- Parking is tricky! Will send instructions 🚙
- Public transit is even trickier... Contact me if you plan on relying on public transit... I can easily help you with a ride up the big hill... meet you at Lake or California Streets in the Richmond neighborhood.
- We will have some snacks and drinks, but feel free to bring your own 🥂

What's the music?

Ain’t Misbehavin’ by Fats Waller

Where does this music come from?

The music presented is a mix of new and old, but predominantly we are talking contemporary composers from the 20th century. The music spans wide in style, and it includes elements of jazz, folk and pop music with thoughtful arrangements for a one-man-band with improvisational sections as well.
