    Step into history as Camerata Pacifica Baroque’s Music Director Emi Ferguson brings Ruckus and Rachell Ellen Wong back to join her in Los Angeles for a rip-roaring twirl through 18th-century England’s hottest dance hits. Think Bridgerton vibes on the concert hall stage - complete period instruments and infectious rhythms (no time machine required.) At the heart of Strawberry Fields are the spirited dances that once filled England’s salons and streets, where the music of two extraordinary composers—Ignatius Sancho and George Frideric Handel—came to life becoming part of the fabric of England’s story. Sancho, born enslaved, became a celebrated composer, abolitionist, and political thinker, while Handel, the voice behind Messiah, shaped the soundscape of his time in profound ways.

    Camerata Pacifica’s non-profit mission begins, “to affect positively how people experience live performances of classical music”, and over 3 decades a wonderful community of engaged and curious listeners has developed around our performances. Intimate venues, innovative programming and a roster of highly personable virtuosi, combine in dynamic, memorable concert presentations. Their performers are representative of the world’s finest, bringing to our stage their highly individual personalities for dynamic performances of music that spans the huge, eclectic range of the chamber music repertoire.
