We look forward to hosting a virtuoso piano violin duo playing selections from Handel, Mozart, Beethoven, Amy Beach, Paganini, and Piazzola.

Jihyun Baik is a New York–based violinist, soloist, chamber musician, and educator. Born in South Korea, she developed her passion in the violin under the influence of her mother, who is a violin teacher. She has performed with Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, Seoul Royal Symphony Orchestra, Württemberg Chamber Orchestra Heilbronn as soloist, and received First Prize at the Euroasia International Competition.
She attended Korea National University of Arts, completed a Master of music degree at Juilliard, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Manhattan School of Music.

Shuo Zhai is a creative professional with pursuits spanning both music and architecture. He graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in music, focusing on collaborative piano and vocal performance. As a pianist engagements have included recitals with members of the LA Phil and masterclasses with soloists such as Gil Shaham. Shuo is also an avid choral singer, having been a decade-long member of the Grammy-winning Los Angeles Master Chorale.
