When you return, you’ll be different…better.” Mystic Journey is: Suzanne Teng (world flutes), Gilbert Levy (world drums & percussion, handpan), Dann Torres (oud, guitar), and Kalani Das (world drums & percussion). With their original instrumental world music, they take their audience on a mystical musical journey.
    This journey includes an invocation on ocarina and drums, hypnotic alto flute and handpan musical travels, an ethereal Chinese bamboo meditation, tribal African djembe drumming, and ecstatic high energy Middle Eastern trance rhythms with the mystical ney and trance reed instruments from Egypt.     We'll be playing all original works that are instrumental world music based, influenced by our musical backgrounds in classical, R & B, jazz and pop music.

    Pieces range from serene to ecstatic, with bamboo flutes, world drums, handpan, Arabic oud, bass flute and much more. Come to listen, relax, dance, and enjoy the community atmosphere with Mystic Journey.

    Where does this music come from?

    Though our pieces are contemporary, they reflect historic musical traditions from Africa, the Middle East, Europe, the Americas and Asia.
