Suzanne Teng & Gilbert Levy, an internationally renowned and married musical duo, create a unique musical style of world music fusion that blends east with west and ethereal melodies with captivating rhythms and is influenced by Suzanne’s classical background and Gilbert’s years as a professional jazz and R&B drummer in New Orleans.

Suzanne, called a “brilliant flutist…who plays music for the soul” by the Los Angeles Times, plays a variety of flutes from around the world and Gilbert performs on world drums and stringed instruments. Their music has been described by Billboard Magazine as “sensual and serene.”

They perform as a duo and with their world music ensemble, Mystic Journey, and have released seven critically acclaimed albums that have garnered numerous international awards including the Independent Music Awards, Global Music Awards (gold medal) and Los Angeles Music Awards. Music

We play our own original compositions that are considered New Age/ World Music with influences from classical music, Jazz, and R&B. For example, one piece might have a serene Chinese bamboo flute playing with growing African drums. Another will feature the western alto flute with African bass harp (Ngoni). Or get up and dance to our Middle Eastern medley! We'll take you on a musical journey around the world and beyond.
