We’re pleased to welcome back pianist Shuo Zhai, together with violinist Chandler Yu and cellist Summer Hu, in an exciting evening of music by Ravel, Rachmaninoff, and more!
This Groupmuse will also feature craft cocktails by The Mobile Mixer as well as a variety of snacks. The evening’s refreshments will be compliments of the host and musicians.

Handel-Halvorsen: Passacaglia (1894)
A fiery virtuoso piece for violin and cello duo consisting of 12 variations based on a theme by Handel, showcasing impressive technical skill and dramatic range.
Ravel: Violin Sonata No.2 (1923-1927)
A playful, dazzling, and hypnotic 3-movement work for violin and piano, inspired by American musical idioms including jazz and blues.
Rachmaninoff: Cello Sonata, Op. 19 (1901)
A deeply soulful, rich, and rhapsodic 4-movement masterpiece for cello and piano, full of sweeping melodies ecstatic harmonies. Rachmaninoff at his best!
