Renowned, jazz duo, world-class stage performers on the fully restored 1893 Victorian Steinway B78949, & the mid 1960's Deagan Aurora Vibraharp 11454.

Robert Redd is a prominent jazz pianist based in Washington, D.C., currently serving as a member of The Duke Ellington Orchestra, with recent tours spanning Japan, Singapore, Korea, Israel, London, and Brazil. He has a long-standing history as the pianist and leader of the Wolf Trap Jazz Trio, a group established by the late Keter Betts, and previously worked as the pianist and musical director for singer/songwriter Kenny Rankin from 1995 to 1998. Redd frequently performs with the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra and the Charlie Byrd Trio, appearing on Byrd's final recording, "For Louis".

Chuck Redd is an internationally acclaimed jazz musician based in the Washington, D.C. area who performs on the vibraphone (often called the "vibra harp") and drums. Born in 1958, he has been a prominent figure in the local scene, serving as an Artist-In-Residence at the Smithsonian Jazz Café from 2004 to 2008 and teaching on the faculty of the University of Maryland School of Music. Chuck Redd has at least 25 European tours and six tours of Japan with artists like the Barney Kessel Trio, Ken Peplowski, and Terry Gibbs. Major Engagements: Featured vibraphonist with the Mel Torme All-Star Jazz Quintet (1991–1996), a 15-year member of the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra, and a performer at the White House and Carnegie Hall.

PotLuck Dinner Buffet 7-8pm & during intermission & following performance. Host will provide two hot hors d'oeuvres & punch for potluck reception during intermission & beginning, when doors open 7pm. Guests are encouraged to bring food/wine to share/potluck; if considering a sweet, think about fruit instead of processed sugar. Music begins at 3pm, please be on time, 2 sets with 1 short intermission, rarely one longer set. Guests most welcome and encouraged to bring dish/drink to share/potluck, please consider bringing wine if you use it. Stemware/Ice Buckets/Filtered Water Provided.
