Host
Hey there,
Penny here:
1st timer as a host and very excited indeed!
A few things you should know:
if you bike, better to park on Grand Ave - near a spotlight, to be safe - and come up the stairs on Davidson Way. My building is the one to the left, at the end of the stairway.
Parking sucks. If you're driving, arrive early in order to look for a spot.
The nearest Bart Station is the Lake Merit, and it isn't that near at all. But it's a beautiful walk.
I'll provide some snacks, but if you want ensure a full belly please bring food, and drinks ;)
Feel free to bring a pillow or a camping chair.
What's the music?
J. Francaix Trio a Cordes (1933)
I - Allegretto Vivo
II - Scherzo
III - Andante
IV - Rondo
- Break -
L. Beethoven String Trio, Op. 9 No. 3 in C Minor (1798)
I - Allegro con spirito
II - Adagio con espressione
III - Scherzo. Allegro molto e vivace
IV - Finale. Presto

I've seen Lucia play before and she rock's! I also love all the info she gives about the piece and composer before playing. The most remarkable group muse I've been to was when Lucia's string quartet played Grieg. What about you all? Do you have an unforgettable group muse experience? Hasta!

I took 4 people out of the waitlist and I may be able to accept the remaining ones. So hang in there! And please, don't forget to cancel your rsvp in case you can't make it. ;)

Hey Penny,
Lucia and the other ladies in the Elden String Quartet rocked a groupmuse house concert I crashed with a last minute +1 tag along from Matt, who's on the roster. That was the night they introduced me to Ravel's great music, which they played with haunting passion. Guess who became a Ravel fan afterwards?

Hello all!
So, I gave up on having camping chairs. The couches and floors should be enough, less crowded.
See you all tomorrow!
