As the title suggests, this is a daytime BBQ event - I will be cooking you something. Feel free (but not obligated!) to bring something to share - an app or dessert or a grillable item if you are so inclined. BYOB. Dress casual. Please bring at least a $10 donation for the musicians, or you can donate through the app!

Rough Schedule:
12:00 to 1:00 - Eat and Mingle
1:00 to 1:25 - Set 1
1:25 to 1:40 - Intermission
1:40 to 2:05 - Set 2
2:05 to 2:15 - Q&A
2:15 on - Drink and be Merry (on the roofdeck)
Getting in the Building
Music will be played in my apartment complex's community lounge. Take the elevator up to 5, hang a left, walk across the roofdeck to the lounge. Buzzer code 0027 calls my phone so I can buzz you in! Food and drink will be served on the adjacent roofdeck (with a gorgeous view of the city / Bernal Heights, space heaters, and a fire pit), so wear layers in case it gets cold.
Transportation & Parking
There's usually plenty of street parking (metered, ends after 6 I believe but you should double check) and there's some street parking around the block. You shouldn't be driving though because you'll probably be drinking, right? Closest BART is either Civic Center or 16th (there will be a bit of a walk after) and the MUNI F line drops you right up the street.
A Final Note
Please let me know if you have any suggestions or post-event feedback, so I can make future groupmuse events more awesome!

Since we're thinking menu already, I guess i'll make ground beef and andouille sausage blue cheese sliders with shallots and garlic, served on King's Hawaiian sweet rolls and garnished with a homemade ground mustard seed aioli and baby arugula.

and no one else will get any, because I will eat them all

Much obliged for a wonderful afternoon. I'll host another after Burning Man, so keep your eyes open!
As requested, here's the slider recipe. I never really measure, I just eyeball. These are the ingredients:
PATTIES
- 3/4ths ground beef (you want a higher fat content for juicier burgers, i go 80/20 or 75/25
- 1/4th ground andouille or hot italian sausage (caseless)
- diced shallots to taste
- diced garlic to taste
- blue cheese crumbles to taste
GARNISH
- Baby Arugula
- Ground mustard seed aioli (you can cheat and not make your own because hand emulsifying is a biatch but i like to from scratch - easy way is just light mayo, extra virgin olive oil, and store bought ground mustard seed)
- Sometimes I put pickled okra but i couldn't find any in the store
BUNS
- King's Hawaiian sweet rolls (Costco sells)
