So remember all of those amazing Massivemuses at WCRB? Well guess what. We’ve got a whole bunch more planned. In fact, we want to never stop, so long as we live to party AND also live to listen to timeless masterpieces of sound art.

But! The whole, WGBH gives us free beers and a musical performance featuring the brightest young lights in the music world completely for free? That was, in fact, too good to be true. But it’s still ALMOST true. Because we worked out a deal with them whereby if you becoming a supporter of WCRB, New England’s Classical Radio station, for $5 a month, you’ll not just be ensuring that eternal beauty is pumped through the ether in the form of radio waves, you’ll also get 2 tickets to each and every Massivemuse @ WCRB AND you’ll get to drink for free. That’s kind of an insane deal. You know they bring the muscle when it comes to these evenings, and it’s only $5/month. So if you’re down for that, sign up here

On the calendar thus far is: this Massivemuse, a Cabaret/Opera night in November, and a Holiday Party Massivemuse featuring Handel and Haydn society. And $5 a pop, with free drinks. An insane deal. Again, you can sign up here.

So what is happening this October the 2nd?

So glad you asked.

When he was eight, pianist NiuNiu (a nickname meaning “Little Ox”) became the youngest student in the history of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, and at age ten he became the youngest pianist ever to sign an exclusive recording contract with a major label (Warner Classics). Now the ripe old age of 18, NiuNiu performs at top venues around the world, while studying at Juilliard in New York and the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston.

If you want to come to this groupmuse but you DON’T want to become a supporter of WCRB, they’re charging $10 at the door and there will be a cash bar. In other words, no free drinks. What are you waiting for? Become a supporter.

What's the music?
