Welcome to the second of what I hope to be a monthly event! Walking distance from Waterfront Metro. An evening for passionate supporters of the arts in the District's smallest, but arguably coolest, quadrant. Bring a bottle or box of something to share (Safeway is metro-adjacent!). Bitings will be on hand as well.
What's the music?
A mix of classical, romantic and pop quartets, including selections from old masters like Mozart, Beethoven, Shostakovich, Brahms, Schubert, Bartok, etc. and selections of Jazz Standards and Pop Songs (Beatles, etc)
Program flexible, as there is a huge amount of repertoire for string ensembles.
