Hi all, thanks for joining us last night! And of course, many thanks to Marjorie, our gracious host. The three of us hope to perform together again soon at Marjorie's, so we hope to see y'all then too. In the meantime, feel free to reach out to any of us, if you'd like to host a groupmuse sometime!
Shameless plug: I'm performing in the Juilliard Orchestra on Thursday Dec 15th in Alice Tully Hall (Lincoln Center) - Brahms Symphony No. 4 is one of my all-time favorite pieces in the orchestral repertoire. Hi all, looking forward to the groupmuse tomorrow night at Marjorie's!
There are still plenty of spots available, so please feel free to invite and encourage someone to come hear classical music in an intimate environment where it's BYOB and full of wonderful people.
We'll open with the Dumky trio, and then after a brief intermission to refill drinks and such, our violinist will perform selections from the solo violin repertoire - special selected movements from Bach's Partita No. 3 in E Major and Ysaye Sonata No. 2, which directly quotes the Bach opening before departing into other soundscapes.
I know Sunday nights can be tricky with it being a school night, but this is a city that never sleeps, I hear. ;)
Cheers,
Mosa
