Balkan Mindmeld Tunes

Balkan Mind Meld, based in Boston, plays grooving traditional music from Bulgaria, Albania, and Greece. Inspired by years of study and traveling in the region, Gawain Thomas (accordion) and Lysander Jaffe (violin, vocals) strive to render this music with the nonstop dance energy, style, and soul it deserves. The band has played venues large and small, from Brooklyn's Golden Festival to Cambridge's Gallery 263, and we released an EP in 2015: https://balkanmindmeld.bandcamp.com/
