Host

Violinist Emil Altschuler and pianist Alice Chenyang Xu perform music by Beethoven and Sarasate’s ‘Zigeunerweisen’ (Gypsy Airs). Spanish violin virtuoso, Pablo de Sarasate was among the most highly prized string players of the 19th century and this piece evokes the Gypsy fire of Romany life. This promises a night of both profound and entertaining music performed by two outstanding musicians from the Boston area.
