Our wonderful friends from the legendary Mostly Mozart Festival at Lincoln Center are making with the goods one last time -- for yet another double header Night Out this Tuesday and Wednesday.

After a 6.30 recital concert in David Geffen Hall featuring soprano Susanna Phillips, Louis Langrée on the piano and Robert Schumann with some of his greatest art songs (which every ticket holder is welcome to join for), we're back in the Hall at 7.30 to celebrate arguably the greatest dyad in the history of Romantic music - that of Schumann and Brahms - who were friends, mentor-mentee, and who were also locked in this wild love triangle with Clara Schumann, Robert's wife, who was also a great musical genius of the era.

On the docket -
Johannes Brahms: Variations on a Theme by R. Schumann, performed by Kirill Gerstein on the keys
Robert Schumann: Piano Concerto in A minor, also with Gerstein on the keys
Brahms: Symphony No. 1
Louis Langrée will lead the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra

The concerts are on:
Tuesday night at 7.30PM (unless you want to join for the 6.30 prelude concert)
and
Wednesday night at 7.30PM (unless, again with the prelude)

Tickets are typically $60 or more, but for the grace of Groupmuse (and our mighty benefactors at Mostly Mozart) are $25 for you! (and $15 for you supermusers out there...)

This'll be our last offering with the Mostly Mozart Festival so if you haven't made it out to see them yet, move fast, because these tickets absolutely evaporate. So many thanks to Mostly Mozart for taking us along! We can wait for next summer!
