Last season, the Metropolitan Museum of Art was incredibly generous with our crowd, throwing open their doors to us for a series of Groupmuse Nights Out not one, not two, but three times — and they were among the most popular evenings we’ve ever offered.

Well guess what - the seasons may change, but some things don’t, and the Met is continuing right along with the love.

On Saturday October 21st, the Met’s beautiful Grace Rainey Rogers Audtorium is open to us once again for yet another Night Out — and this time it’s with the world-renowned Aizuri Quartet and an evening of Music and Mayem:

"It has been said that all art is political. In this concert, the Aizuri Quartet examines musical compositions written during a time of political upheaval. Ludwig van Beethoven's Opus 74, the "Harp" quartet, Steve Reich's "Different Trains," and Sofia Gubaidulina's String Quartet No. 4 were all written in response to sociopolitical turmoil or oppression. The three composers turn to the most intimate, powerful, and intense musical genre—the string quartet—to capture the intensity of their time."

At the door, these tickets cost $50 — but because it’s Groupmuse and we’ve got the hookup in the sunshine of the Met’s love, we’ve got a stack for fully 50% - $25 tickets, and that includes all day admission to this great museum, I don’t know, maybe you’ve heard of it, it’s called the Met.

Music starts at 7 but feel free to show up as early as 6pm and grab a glass of wine.

Anyhow, supplies are limited, so boogie!
