Host

The Treehouse is a big old rambling house in the Oakland hills. For over fifty years, it was the home of a music teacher and his five kids. He taught in front of the big windows looking out over the bay's bridges. He moved out last year at 104, and at the open house he gave away his instruments to the first children who asked if they could have them.

The floors are still covered in the scratch marks of his pianos. We're hosts in his honor, because the space was meant for music. Also, because we love it too! This is our first time as hosts, but not our first Groupmuse. We'd love to have you at the first of many evenings of music in our home.

What's the music?

Mozart and Weiner String Trios
