A Voice For Everyone features the remarkable and truly personal voice of composer Ian Gottlieb. His concerto grosso, Even, written for Palaver Strings in its first year as an ensemble, expands the boundaries of the string orchestra medium, interweaving unity and individuality in a multitudinous fabric of divergent yet complementary solo lines. Even will be presented alongside two other exemplary concerti grossi by Correlli and Vaughan Williams, establishing it as the next innovative step in this string orchestra medium. The 3rd Grade String Orchestra students from Bridge Boston Charter School’s El Sistema program will play the Vaughan Williams alongside Palaver Strings and perform a piece they will arrange with Ian Gottlieb. This performance will be part of our year-long Chamber Music Institute with Bridge Boston students.
