A few weeks back, we brought our crowd to Harvard University's remarkably Hogwartsian Sanders Theater for a Night Out with Eighth Blackbird. Well grab your floo powder because this Thursday, we're going back -- this time, to see the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra, lead by the legendary Benjamin Zander, for an evening of overwhelming Russian genius.

A Mussorgsky overture, Prokofiev's 3rd Piano Concerto, and Tchaikovsky's 4th Symphony, all under the baton of that Boston Treasure, Ben Zander.

For decades, Zander has been touring the world, enlightening audiences about the treasures of classical music - the capstone of which is his famous TEDTalk, which has been viewed almost 3 million times.

And the Boston Phil is his baby. Included in the concert experience is an introduction to every piece that Zander gives as only Zander can - probing the ins and outs of the work, and suggesting wherefrom its power comes. Ultimately, who knows - but Zander's guess is about as good as they come.

Typically, these tickets will run an average of $50 - but it's Groupmuse after all, and the Boston Phil is seriously good people, so they've given us a stack for $20 each - more than 50% off. But these won't last, so step right up!

The concert starts at 7.30pm.

Have a great Night Out!
