In 2007, Simone Dinnerstein became a classical music icon when, amidst her life as a working piano teacher, she humbly self-produced her own recording of Bach’s Goldberg Variations, which quickly became the best selling classical recording of its time.
Every since, she’s toured the world as one of the leading pianists of our generation - and on May 19th she’s coming through the beautiful Herbst Theatre in Downtown San Francisco and we’re gonna be there too!
Backed by the New Century Chamber Orchestra, one of the leading conductorless orchestras in the world, Dinnerstein takes us through the ages - with a Piano Concerto by J.S. Bach, all the way up to this West Coast Premier of a new Piano Concerto by Phillip Glass.
