A couple weeks back, the renowned Aston Magna Festival invited us along to one of its concerts for a Night Out in Waltham -- and a majority of the feedback we got from our 'musers declared it one of the best musical experiences they'd ever had. Well, the love is apparently mutual, because this Thursday, they're inviting us back for yet another Night Out in Waltham!

This time, the violin sonatas by the Romantic giant Johannes Brahms will be on offer -- three of the loveliest, most powerful works ever written. Daniel Stepner, the Artistic Director of Aston Magna will be on the violin, backed by the world-famous composer, musicologist, pianist Robert Levin, playing a 1879 piano -- built right around the time Brahms was building the formidable masterworks which will bring the instrument to life.

As last time, the concert will be at Brandeis University's Slosberg Music Center and, while tickets are typically $40, our wonderful friends have put aside a stack for Groupmuse at $20 a pop -- fully half off! But supplies are limited, so if you want to join, hop on it!

And have a great Night Out!
