I hope you can join me at my second GroupMuse house concert. For your listening pleasure, I am honored to share the music of the Trifilio Tango Trio with Claudia Gargiulo, mezzo soprano. Please note that a cat shares this house.
What's the music?
We will play tango music from Argentina and bossa novas from Brazil. The repertoire will range from old popular tangos to the most contemporary ones composed by Astor Piazzolla. Astor Piazzolla was a student of Nadia Boulanger in France. She was his inspiration and led him to start composing tango music with his unique contemporary style.
